Here is a pick I took of myself right before take off. Honestly, that was probably the most intense hour and 45 minutes of my life. I slept, or should I say hibernated, for 14 hours after that flight was over. It was definitely a kick ass ride! The Original Cabana Boy!

SkiD_PL8 0 #6 February 15, 2005 Quotei want to eject from one. From what I understand that is generally not a fun experience. You usually end up with broken bones and things of that nature. Greenie in training.

Darius11 12 #8 February 15, 2005 Yea I am sure the force is tremendous. But it still would be cool. You know 1 sec before you hit the ground punch out. Like that dude in the F-16 that crashed. That was cool.I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

That was cool. Personally I think I could get enough jollies up in the air. Just flying around at the speed of sound. I wouldn't need to scream at the earth at over 500mps just to punch out. Trying to save my life while breaking my body and destorying a multi million dollar piece of equipment. Just to get off on it. OrangeJumper 0 #17 February 16, 2005 I'm not a pilot. They give out rides to people that win quarterly and annual awards. I won a few of both and was given the opportunity to ride in one of the F-16's. I also got to ride in an F-111, KC-135 (refueler), C-5, and a blackhawk. The F-16 ride was just insane. Honestly, it's like being strapped to the nose of a bullet that you can control. SICK! The Original Cabana Boy!
wingnut 0 #18 February 17, 2005 dude, they counted your ride in a c-5 as an "incentive" ride???? i'v only riddenin the passengercompartment abouve the cargo bay but it sucked......... now the f-16, that was a fun ride..... much funer to ride in them than work on them for 12 hours shift 6 days a week......... the kc-10 i've ridden on was pretty comfy... only problem was wheni got off of it they told us about 9/11..... we were over the atlantic whenit all went down.. ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
