slug 1 #3 February 15, 2005 Hi Ace How old is you dog? He likes pie ymmm People foodOur dog eats, Honeydoo melon, grapes, pickels, telephones, shoes, meds, pants, shirts, socks, leather couch, paper money. We made a list once of all the things our hounds ate But they ate the list We really enjoy our dogs and in hindsight would do it again. If they start on the furniture use duct tape until they grow out of it. R.I.P.
flyangel2 2 #4 February 15, 2005 That is funny! Thanks for sharing that. I thought I was going to read about your old dog passing. I guess the only thing he's going to pass tonight is gas! I hope he doesn't sleep in the same room with you.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. dan_iv 0 #11 February 16, 2005 I have a 6 year old lab that eats everything and anything it can get ahold of. Here are just a few examples. 1. raw chicken waiting to be cooked (damn dog) 2. a whole cantalope, (spit seeds out all over the floor but ate everything else???? how he did that I'll never know) 3. a miller lite bottle cap, (this one costed us 1,000) in vet surgery fees.... why he ate that i'll never know either??? bisqit999 0 #12 February 16, 2005 I have a 6 year old boxer. The worst thing she ate was a certain used feminine product. I had to pull a string from her butt to get it out. Gross but one of the most hysterical things i have ever seen. Also, my dog can get some really nasty breath at times so one day I gave her a Listerine strip. She ate it but then started foaming at the mouth.. That too was really funny but i guess I shouldn't give her those anymore. She had fresh breath for the rest of the day though. I brush all three of my dogs teeth three times a week. Also, if the dog has really bad breath, it means she needs a vet to clean her teeth. It doesn't really cost that much, I have it done once a year for my dogs. You should look into it. We always had lots of rawhide bones laying around and the vet was surprised how clean our dogs teeth were. The rawhide is good for the teeth but won't prevent them from eating other things did we tell you about the wallet The first time a friend tok her Old English sheepdog to her folks house he threw up a pair of her panties (whole).. This should be a interesting thread Enjoy R.I.P.

Evelyn 0 #20 February 16, 2005 My dog refuses to eat dog food. But he loves cat food. We tried every brand of dog food we could find, even bought dog food in cans that look like cat food cans, but it didn't fool him. So now we just feed him cat food. He also loves cat poop didbits and french fries. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing ~ Helen Keller

I've got a 1yo yellow lab that will nearly anything too. She preferred wooden furniture when she was younger, and would chew up the big rawhide bones in a day or two. While she hasn't really eaten anything too strange, she did manage to get into a bag of Dove chocolates I had stashed in my room (my brother went into my room to get something and didn't close the door back), and ate the whole damn bag. We took her to the vet, and he said she'd probably be OK, which she was. She did run around the house like a crackhead the entire night and tried to bury things in the carpet though. My old dog used to get spagehti meat sauce on his dry food each night. He actually could take a mout full of food, suck all the sauce off of it and spit the dry pellets out one by one, and then look at you like "HEY! When the fuck are you gonna feed me?!"---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
