Always feels like coming home *wipes a tear* I'm gonna be up at Aggieland for Safety day March 12)- who gonna be there??!??? Lets jump, drink and be safe! I'm still trying to get Moodyskydiver to come out that saturday night for some two-stepping. Anyone else interested? Dave assures me there are places The rest of the time (13 March to 19 March) I'm in Houston (well, League City to be specific but I'm MOBILE)... Anyone up for drinks? Slappie 9 #13 February 10, 2005 I'm feeling social Since we're all going to be in the "Houston Area" let's have a "Skydiver night out" maybe make it the 12th? That's a Saturday we can all meet at the Flying Saucer downtown at the corner of Main & Capitol. Easy access, close parking you can even catch the Light Rail and it drops you off about a half block away. 100's of beers... Not really a party club as in dancing. But we could meet there then move to another one close by. There are many clubs downtown now that cater to a wide mix of entertainment styles. Dancing, Sports, Drinking (my fave) Techno even Country (I think).. who knows.. What's everyone think? Yes we will be open, yes we are having a safety day briefing thing or multiple things, Yes if you are coming to the "land of maroon" and are in need of somewhere to pass out, you will be most likely welcomed into a dwelling of one of the locals, yes it is safe to go to the dwellings of SOME of the locals, Yes there is a multitude of Bars, pubs, and other establishments that do allow dancing, drinking and general ramle-rousin, we even have 3 Whataburger's open 24 hours a day in case you get those middle of the night cravings for taquito.
