Winter pics at the Ranch

Recommended Posts

I posted some of these in the Weekend Numbers thread, but thought they deserved their own thread.

I have lived in upstate NY most my life, and even I was impressed that they got 7 full Otter loads up. Granted, it WAS warm for us, (45 degrees) but it was still, how should I say..... less than ideal conditions. Thought some of the warm climate jumpers might like to see the snow.:)
Thank you to the Ranch for a great day!

How does Jules keep his helmet's faceplate from fogging?

Do you mean once you put it on in the plane before exit? What I do is make a concentrated effort to exhale only through the little holes in the helmet. It usually works because when I don't think about it, my glasses get all fogged up under my helmet. :S

It seems like a vented cover over the mouth and nose would be required to keep moisture from condensing on *her* faceplate.

I enjoyed your pictures and I must say that I love jumping The Ranch in winter. I hope to make a few jumps this weekend... Your pictures brought back some frigid memories... Last winter I took this pic. from the strut of a cessna.
