Dropzone Relationships : How many is too many?

Recommended Posts

So you come into the sport, meet someone - date - break up.
When can you feel like you can start dating again, and can you date someone else on the same DZ?

Or is it time to expand the circle of friends and date a lawyer with a weekend golf problem?

I think true friendship is under-rated

You know what they say about dating guys and girls on the DZ right? You're never actually going out, it's just your turn.

But you know DZ's are like sewing circles, there'll always be talk from some people. Me personally? I couldn't care. If you like someone, date them. To each their own, as long as you're happy.

Dating people inside and outside of the sport has it's pros and cons. I find sometimes it's really cool cos the other person knows how skydivers are but it's also rad that the DZ is my thing and gives me some time away.

Hope this helped...

There's a saying in skydiving: You dont loose your girlfriend at the dz, you just loose your turn.

I have been down this road and lost the most valuable person in my life, keep your relationships off the DZ, and your hands off fellow jumpers. It will only end in a bad way. Ask me I know!

It is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all.

Your an amazing women Beverly and you will find peace and happiness in your life, you soul loves like no other.

Better never to have met you in my dream than to wake and reach for hands that are not there.

As long as you don't mind being that girl who everyone talks badly about, I say go ahead and date whoever you want!

because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

If you go out with them for a while then people will not tend to talk badly about you. If your relationship consists of several hours after each DZ party with a different bloke then people may well talk. B|

If you care about the community health of your DZ, you will most circumspect in starting realationships there.

If you don't care ...

Been down both roads... but for me.. no personal entanglements at my home DZ... otherwise there is the chance of a custody battle for who gets custody of the DZ and all your friends.

That's a fact.
I've seen people change DZs or leave the sport over it.

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
