Slappie 9 #1 February 3, 2005 Ugh, I'm shopping for a container / aad / reserve ... The classifieds are awesome... BUT! Everything is either so old I can't sitfly in it or it's made for a <135 main. Why is everyone selling their tiny itty bitty rigs? Is there no one 180# and uses a 170-190 main anymore? Brains 2 #2 February 3, 2005 They are all upsizing Don't you know that the current trend is to fly a larger main and use weights for an increased wl? Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

JustaBill 0 #6 February 3, 2005 I feel your pain...I myself am looking for something in the 190 range------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
ACMESkydiver 0 #7 February 3, 2005 Fortunately for me (and sorry, unfortunately for you ) I don't need to sell my rig any more. I've got a new Icon, Tri 190, Smart 175. And they work maaaaarvelously! (Except the reserve...now I wouldn't know how that flies, and I don't particularly wanna, either...'cept in a test situation, of course. ) Sorry bud. I can't let go of my stuff yet! And when I need to downsize by the end of the year, I will most likely give my stuff to my hubby to jump, as he'll be newer in the sport and the WL will be right for him. ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. larsrulz 0 #8 February 3, 2005 Sold my wings/sabre 190 setup recently without a bit of trouble. The good news is those have excellent resale value once you find one! I got a strong urge to fly, but I got no where to fly to. -PF

AAD is optional atm, I've jumped with & without. I'll find something. I'm really just window shopping right now to see what the used prices are. bob.dino 1 #16 February 4, 2005 Quote there are lots of newbies out there, but where is all their stuff? They're jumping it! You don't see so many 190s in the classifieds 'coz they sell so quickly. And, I'd imagine in the States that it's usually to someone at the same DZ. There's no need to go online to find a buyer. Smaller canopies have a smaller potential market, so they'll likely be advertised for longer before being sold. At least, that's the way it works here in Australia.
