I've talked about how I play Texas Hold 'Em poker here in Georgia and going to tournments. It's a free, no money winning game, but get opportunities to qualify for bigger tournaments and a possible $500 Buy-In at a REAL money game in Las Vegas.

I'm proud to say that last night, for the very first time ever, I came in 2'nd.

Before you all start telling me that coming in 2'nd is just the first loser...

There are a minimum of 60 people that show up for these nightly games. You have to fight off at least 40 of these people to make the top 20, which I do on a regular basis.

The best I have done up to now is 4'th, so I am doing a Tigger dance right now.

I know that, silly! I have a Tigger on my neck that never comes off of me. I once even had someone sing me the Tigger song. Can you top that?

Keep working on your game. Hope you make it to the Dublin Boogie where we will have Huge Hold-em Tournament with Trophys and Great Skydiving Gear Prizes for the top finishers.

I don't know that I will ever be ready for real cash games, though. I need every penny I can scrounge up to participate in the Women's World CRW record, scheduled for the end of April.

But it's a good possibility that I might be attending the Dublin boogie and hope to meet you there and soundly spank your butt!

I got 5'th place in a game last night!

The good news is that I am a shoo in for an invite to the next local 3-week and probably the quarterly tournaments.

The bad news is that there are no games in Florida on this tour. By the time I get back from CRW camp to play on Monday, I'll probably have lost all of my mo-jo.
