mailin 0 #7 February 2, 2005 heheh Its a long story but I'm only 4 jumps from my A and terrified of canopy control etc. so I don't want to change dropzones just yet. Thanks for the offer though JenArianna Frances
RfukfreeflyingW 0 #8 February 2, 2005 ok im confused, first of ur profile says RI so how is sebastian ur home? second off canopy conwhat? u dont have to "contol" ur canopy to come to dublin. trust me no where in the waiver does it say that. i mean sure it'd be helpful, but its so wide open, u'll be fine... TRUST ME ---- -God, you are the perfect amount of dumb...
bob.dino 1 #9 February 2, 2005 I'd be pretty surprised if the wavier didn't mention an A or B licence...
mailin 0 #10 February 2, 2005 You're making me laugh It's a long story - but winter in new england sux, so I went to FL to do my AFF/A jumps. Didn't get to finish, so I'm going back. I want to jump over spring break (which for me is the week of the 7th) and because I don't want to surprise myself with a new landing area, I'm going back to where I started. Quoteu'll be fine... Ya, thats what I thought before I crashed on the taxi-way too My tail bone will allow me to climb numerous stairs any day now... skysprite 0 #11 February 2, 2005 I'm either going to the Dublin boogie if I can afford to go, or I'll just drive over to Eloy and make some jumps for Spring break.~skysprite
RfukfreeflyingW 0 #12 February 2, 2005 hey wow i crashed on a taxi way before too. f*cked up my ankle. I try to stay away from dz's with concrete now haha. its not a good idea to land on them... but see sometimes u have to let the dz that did u wrong go.. its really for the best...---- -God, you are the perfect amount of dumb... May when the season starts up here On the bright side I hope to be moved to the Atlanta area this time next year (if all goes as planned, which almost never happens ), so getting to Dublin will be much easier next time JenArianna Frances
skysprite 0 #15 February 2, 2005 I've had more than my fair share of landings on a cactus. ~skysprite
Acensky 0 #16 February 2, 2005 Same time as my break. I am driving from Salem, OR to Sacramento. My boyfriend lives there. He is 4 ,and he couldn't say say my name so he called me his girlfriend and it just stuck I can't wait to go. Might stop by the DZ's around there. might even take a few days to go to San francisco.Garbage bags do not make good parachutes.

skysprite 0 #19 February 2, 2005 Nope, doesn't feel too good either. FJC, they radio landed me right into a cactus. It was a breezy day, and I'm a newb, so they had two people out to catch me. They got into it too. Second jump I didn't land in cactus, but I go to get up and don't watch where I place my hands... cactus. That hurt way more. I've been threatened with a gift of a potted cactus for my 100th jump! If (okay, when) I land out, I always managed to find the one lone cactus. ~skysprite
RfukfreeflyingW 0 #20 February 2, 2005 you know thats impressive. I have a friend like that, he landed in 2 trees in a row. got talked into one like u. hmm now see that would be a great reason to find a new dz, im not sure which i'd prefer the runway or a cactus.... wow i do believe i will sit a ponder that...---- -God, you are the perfect amount of dumb... skysprite 0 #21 February 2, 2005 heh, I'm in New Mexico, and there's only one dz in my area. Oh well. A little cactus won't keep me from jumping. One time I landed damn near dead center in the plowed dirt circle. They had to have figured out where I was going to land exactly and planted cactus shit there when I wasn't looking cause I still managed to have that junk in my canopy! wth!! ~skysprite
