After that forget it.:|
I'll sleep right there if I have to.
I get thirsty as heck for water or soda after 2-3 anyway.

The ONLY reason to drink and Drive is the you are an F'TARD.
How can there be any other reason.
(I'm not talking about 2 beers and driving home):P

Been there... Done that! Luckily, I never hurt anyone or got a DWI. Quit drinking years ago... after being stopped for 3-miles over the speed limit! I'd been drinking at the DZ. Kept my face into the wind while talking with the highway patrolman. He let me go with a warning for speed.

This is not a duscussion of whether it's right or wrong.... Just a question of WHY.

I like the challenge. Trying to figure out which 2 of the 4 lines I see to keep the car between is tough! It's easier when on the bike though, so I figure I can drink more then. I usually leave my helmet at home though, the alcohol breath stings my eyes if I have a helmet on.

F'ing Tard? That's nice.

You're really expecting serious comments? You ask a question that there isn't any good, justifiable answers for, and expect people to respond seriously? Is your next poll "Why do you do crack?"

I was reading all the posts, specifically the one cut & pasted above.

I KNOW there is no good reason to do it. I'm not looking for a GOOD REASON.

Simply put, Don't drink and drive. But if you do, with regard to the reasons provided, which one is YOUR reason.

I just always like to have my car with me. I don't do it anymore but a few years back.....

Me too. It's a pain in the ass to have to retrieve your car the next day. Also, after a few drinks I honestly would stop caring about the consequences. (Although sobriety always made me feel thankful that there weren't ever any consequences.) I did this more times than I care to recount, sometimes I was so hammered that I had to cover one eye with a hand so I'd only see ONE of everything.

I also used to be a really heavy drinker. Now that I only drink socially, my previous behavior seems a little wreckless. I won't get on the road even I've only had a beer or two.

Being aware of all the baggage that comes along with getting a DUI also tamed me a bit. :)
