AggieDave 6 #1 January 25, 2005 There are probably only a handful of yall that will appreciate what kind of boots these are and what that entails... Lucchese Classics Mens European Goat Westerns. Now I just need to start saving money so I can actually get them. These will look great with the tux I'm getting as well. Now my next decision is Black Cherry or Black? The black cherry they have on the website is pretty bright, but the one I looked at in person are dark, nearly black with just a hint of maroon in them. Besides, I've wanted a good pair of Lucchesse boots for a long time and my wedding is a good excuse.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." chaoskitty 0 #12 January 25, 2005 QuoteI had to google Lucchese Prounounced "LOU-KAY-SEE".. .. and only a non-texan would consider NOT wearing boots in his wedding. Those are some good lookin boots, Dave. And go ahead and spend the money on them because you'll still have a nice pair of dress boots. Cant tell you how many pairs of bridesmaid shoes I have that I'll never wear, or have already thrown out.
jumper03 0 #13 January 25, 2005 They look purty... I'd go black cherry. But I'd also stick with my Justins. Scars remind us that the past is real

AggieDave 6 #20 January 25, 2005 Quotet is worth it man. I have a good pair of boots that i have had for 11 years. You get what you pay for. No doubt. I've had my Double H boots for about 4 or 5 years now and they still look sharp...although I'm desperatly needing to get them resoled... There are folks that have Luchesse boots for 50+ years... Well, I do think its funny that the only folks that have responded knowning what they are are folks that are either in TX or have lived in TX at one point or another. Man, I wish I could order them now...maybe in a couple of more months.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
