Finally found the perfect boots for my wedding

Recommended Posts

There are probably only a handful of yall that will appreciate what kind of boots these are and what that entails...

Lucchese Classics Mens European Goat Westerns. Now I just need to start saving money so I can actually get them. These will look great with the tux I'm getting as well. Now my next decision is Black Cherry or Black? The black cherry they have on the website is pretty bright, but the one I looked at in person are dark, nearly black with just a hint of maroon in them.

You don't understand the quality of these boots. They're hand made, very nice, very hign end leather. Ain't your normal cowboy boots.

Besides, I've wanted a good pair of Lucchesse boots for a long time and my wedding is a good excuse.;)

Yep - and pick me up a pair on your way, would you.
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

I understand...........Just realize how rare it is in MOST of the country to wear boots to a wedding.

Hey, its not uncommon in the rest of the country.

OH, you're talking about outside of my country of Texas...ok.:P

I had to google Lucchese :(

Prounounced "LOU-KAY-SEE"..

.. and only a non-texan would consider NOT wearing boots in his wedding.
Those are some good lookin boots, Dave. And go ahead and spend the money on them because you'll still have a nice pair of dress boots.
Cant tell you how many pairs of bridesmaid shoes I have that I'll never wear, or have already thrown out.

No doubt.

I've had my Double H boots for about 4 or 5 years now and they still look sharp...although I'm desperatly needing to get them resoled...

There are folks that have Luchesse boots for 50+ years...

Well, I do think its funny that the only folks that have responded knowning what they are are folks that are either in TX or have lived in TX at one point or another.

Man, I wish I could order them now...maybe in a couple of more months.B|

well I'm not very much into that kind of boots personally, but I understand what they represent for you and would be glad to participate in the purchase.

Alright, I'm in too. What are we talking about? $20 a pop?
Come on people, let's pitch in for AD's wedding present.:)

That's not why I posted this, I'm just excited I found a nice pair that are exactly what I was looking for and wanted to share. I thought that some folks outside of TX might learn something about boots.;)

I'll get in on that. Somebody start a Paypal account or something where we can all chip in for them.
I don't have an M.D. or a law degree. I have bachelor's in kicking ass and taking names.
