Helicopter tour of Grand Canyon and Hoover Damn

So I will be going to Las Vegas twice in Feb. Not much of a gambler so I we have tickets for Blue Man Group on Valentines weekend. We are thinking about doing the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam with an off road trip through the desert. Has anyone done one of these? I've seen prices from $300 to $500 per person. Any reccomendations?

Did the chopper thing near the South Rim in '94. Yes it's worth it.
Biggest indicator of time i have ever seen. Too bad there isn't a dz/base operation there.
Would love to swoop the top and carve it down to the bottom. Getting out would suck unless we had a chopper or elevator.
