kelel01 1 #1 January 17, 2005 The first dream was on Saturday night: I dreamed that a friend of mine and I were in a church that was being used like a shelter (at the time, I didn't know what from, but it became apparent). After talking for a while, it turns out that it was a shelter from a terrorist act. Well, my friend tells me that "the terrorists have a laser that they can shoot at us, and we'll all be incinerated". At that exact moment, the whole church lit up with white light, and we all knew what just happened. The weirdest thing was that I could feel myself being incinerated, but it didn't hurt. And my last thought before I woke up was "Well, I guess in about two seconds I'll know if Heaven and Hell exist." Second dream was last night: I was at the mall, and all of a sudden, all the windows broke out, and water was rushing in. I can only assume it was a tsunami. I climbed the bookshelves in a store and escaped the rushing water, but then the whole room just broke off from the mall and was swept away. Then all of the water was gone in an instant (as tends to happen in dreams) and I was in the same room, but it was all destroyed, so I was also outside. Then the earthquakes started, and the ground around me just started falling away. I kept running and running, but I didn't know where to go . . . and then I woke up. Think I have issues of some sort? kelel01 1 #6 January 17, 2005 Hmmmm . . . perhaps my dreams reflect my fear of dying, and they always say you should face your fears. Maybe I'll just take the rest of the week off and find somewhere to jump in Florida.

Brigitte36 0 #8 January 17, 2005 Fear in reaction to world events causes a lot of people to react with bad dreams. We can't control what's happening and the feeling of helplessness gives us the freaks. I read an article where after 9/11 thousands of people who never lived in or ever saw the twin towers before had terrible dreams about them. Just means you have a big heart kelel. I get bad dreams when I start reading about the events in Iraq and the war and watch news or CNN. It's caused by worrying about my friends over there, they tell me some of what they are going through only in bits and pieces and even that is enough to scare me.
