SpeedRacer 1 #1 January 14, 2005 yes they do. I have to fill one out for myself now. since there is no chance for bonuses, this is really just an uncomfortable & totally unprofitable exercise. happythoughts 0 #5 January 14, 2005 The idea should be, "How well did you complete the assigned tasks?" or "How well did you perform your duties?" I have been given "performance reviews" by managers who never assigned me any work and had no idea at all what I was doing. Peej 0 #7 January 17, 2005 I have mine at 9.30am on Wednesday morning. Ugh. We've just been told about how we need to rate ourselves out of 10 on the following: Quality of work Ensuring delivery/Meeting deadlines Customer Service Team Work Then we meet one on one with my Creative Director and she rates us against our scores. This could get ugly Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
littlestranger 0 #8 January 17, 2005 I have alot of fun with my performance review...this year I told my boss I was no longer challenged by my job and that our method of forecasting inventory purchases was essentially a "crapshoot". He loved that one, his comment, "did you have to put that in there? My boss reads this." Then he laughed. Got a raise. Seriously, the performance review is your one opportunity to change things you don't like or shake them up. What's the worst thing that can happen...you get fired? Maybe that's not such a bad thing. selbbub78 0 #9 January 17, 2005 Yes they are AWFUL! My supervisor is an idiot, and we went over mine after I filled it out, and he said "you're doing great, but I think i'm going to rank you lower, because i don't like how you're doing at being secretary of the safety committee"! Now, please note... This committee is NOT part of my job, it's something that I took on extra, and my boss is being an idiot! Such a waste of time! If he wanted to rank me lower due to dz.com, that's fine, but taking something I'm doing as an extra... Please...some supervisors...
