Well, I feel a little better for having heard from my drinking buddy from last night. He has been sick 3 times today and can't quite keep painkillers down. Yay! Someone feels worse than me!!!!!

I quit drinking 9 years ago.
In addition to all the other good things that resulted from that choice, I enjoy these little extra reminders of what I hated about getting drunk.
I havent had a hangover in 9 years :-)

Both involve not being at work staring at a computer screen which has never been a good recipe for beating a hangover...

One gatorade, a ton of water and some Pebto. If that doesn't work, try two shots of tequilla


FYI - If you have a paramedic around with an extra bag of saline.....fixes it in about a minute.

I find that watered-down Gatorade (or other sports drink) is good for a hangover. I fill the glass about 1/4 with Gatorade and then fill the rest with water.

Unless you have a hangover so bad you can't even keep sips of water down.

When I went to lake wales it took me 18 hours to get where I could sip water again. It was a full two days before I was over that hangover...wow it sucked.

I don't think it was the full strength beer that was the problem... I think my problem was starting with a bottle of wine, moving onto full strength beer and knocking them back together with interesting coloured vodka shooters. Either way lesson learnt!

I feel fine now after a good nights sleep - thanks all for the tips!

I find that shooting up with smack usually takes the edge of it. It also makes the long drive a little more bearable. Semis can get awfully uncomfortable after 14 or so hours in the saddle.
