DZ.com Weight Loss Challenge: Friday check-in

Okay I did the unthinkable. I actually went on the scale today, after a weekend of eating junk food, and drinking way too much alcohol , and the results.... -3 POUNDS!!!!!! Maybe there's something to drinking and eating too much junk food. Who knows.... Of course we'll see how i do this friday. Granted the weight that I started with was when I weighed myself last wednesday, not friday, so that might be one of the reasons why it's at -3, but still. it's all good :)

I missed weighing in Friday, because at weigh in time I was busy freezing to death on an icy rooftop.

But my monday weigh in was 181.5 and 21%.

What's the notation? 212.5/165/31/21% ? Did I get that right? At any rate, I've lost 31 pounds so far on my weigh from 212.5 to my goal weight of 165.

Travellling thursday and friday played hell with my workout schedule (and my eating schedule--it's always harder for me to eat right while travelling). I did manage to get some yards in the pool today--around an hour and 15 minutes--but it didn't go so well, as I was incredibly sore from shovelling snow out of my yard on Sunday.

Tomorrow, will, hopefully be another (and a better) day.

Not to fuck with the whole set up but I started on Monday.

Current weight is 252lb.
Goal weight is 200.00

It felt so good to workout again. I have been so unmotivated the last 4-5 months. But yesterday I felt like I was ready to kick some ass again.

Right on Tom! Nice work.

I Went from 198 to 169 last year in about 4 months just through a diet change.....I'm up to 175 which was about my target after adding some exercise (and the tunnel training). I fugure I've added some muscle. Now if I can just tighten up the abs, I'll be "dead sexy....":D

I used to be one of those guys with six pack abs. Nowadays, it's more a mini keg than a six pack. And, unfortunately, no matter how good of shape I get in, the left side of my lower abs will never get defined again (as a result of spinal injury and nerve damage from that nasty accident). Price I pay for the life I lead, I suppose.

Well,

from 210 that I posted last week (it was actually before the holidays, so I expected some bad news) I went to the gyn today and I'm at 207, from 225 a year ago with a target of 200.

Its probably muscle mass that I lost during the holidays since I didnt excercised and ate plenty, but I'll get there! :)
