ephrin 0 #1 January 7, 2005 Am I the only one who's feeling a bit depressed after the boogie? I was so high (both figuratively, and literally) all week of the boogie, and now I feel like I want to fucking kill everyone I know. Is this normal? Am I the only one who's having a hard time coping with real life again?
AnotherGoodin 0 #2 January 7, 2005 I hate when you meet a nice guy at a boogie and chill with that one person all week and then find out the day you leave he starts messing around with one of the other girls that was there from your own DZ. I wish I didn't go this time. If life gives you lemons then make lemonade, if not then go thirsty and keep on truckin'
davedlg 0 #3 January 7, 2005 Yup. I've been distracted and unable to get anything done at work all week. I wanna be back in Eloy. Well, at least I've been planning my next skydiving trip to perris in April!

gravityizsexy 0 #6 January 7, 2005 By the way man, if you did some ecstacy this weekend then yeah, it's normal.... the damage your feeling will still be there, but you'll get over it. You got friends here so no worries... chill out, relax, walk around town a bit... mall, movies... take yourself out. That should take care of things. ccowden 0 #9 January 7, 2005 I get this way sometimes too after I get back from a weekend or boogie where I had a great time and saw lots of friends. It is hard to come back to "the real world" and think about all the fun you had and all the friends you left and may not see for awhile. But like anything else, it wears off with time. After a couple days you are back to your old self and looking forward to the next thing. I do know exactly what you are talking about and how you feel. I can totally empathize. Snowbird 0 #12 January 7, 2005 Quote It just means I have to sit around at work and watch Good Stuff all day to try and not kill someone... When I get back from Eloy, I'm always in full bitch mode for a week. Must be the lack of endorphins and adrenaline afterward, or something. It's worse than PMS. But what a way to get into a bad mood! Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. Heinlein

Eloy is home for me so i just played it safe and watched the sparks from afar.... was quite funny actually.. watching horny, drunk hookups is the best spectator sport ever!! ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. CSpenceFLY 1 #14 January 7, 2005 You should try planning a Boogie. You spend months working on all the details and then puff, not only do you have the post boogie blues but you have nothing but spare time on your hands.I'm already planning the one after Dublin. Can you say BEACH!!! FUCK I even posted a guy playing a piano with his dick that was just rock bottom. flefly 0 #18 January 8, 2005 was at Eloy for 2 weeks during the Thanksgiving Boogie, first dropzone abroad, first camera jumps with mates, first balloon jump (@sunrise) , few coach jumps with jeffro, first wingsuit jump, first proper free-flying, had to leave on Dec 3rd, spend 4 days working in rainy thomasville near rainy Baltimore with no lift available to get me to Pennsylvania dropzone, travel for 12 hours back to the UK, go back to work the next day, work through Christmas reading posts about how great the holiday boogie was!, go to Langar, jump in minus 20 with 25mph winds, 2 jumps in 1 whole day, now my cypres needs its 4 year service before i can jump again, wife is full term with child number 4, he's (no name yet )still in the stand position and refuses to adopt the more stable ( in this case ) headdown position. " i got blues, their multipyin' " oh well at least my cypres will only take 3 weeks, summers here in 5 months, and i can now film a stunt birth with my new camera helmet with both hands free to support the wife / pass-on the gas and air. and i know there are lots of firsts up there but i'm also skint......lol i find that the 250 photo's and 5 hours of video i got help me to cope but can sometimes produce erratic effects on the ol' lady "Message from the dark side, there is" Yoda
