peacefuljeffrey 0 #28 December 31, 2004 Hi folks! Tonight I made another shirt with glow paint (greenish) on a black t-shirt. It came out okay, but the paint is kinda faint. I may do a second coat to bolster it. This one has a moon and stars, to give it a night-jump motif, and I decided what the hay, I'll add a little airport down below. Not sure if that'll appeal, but I figured it was worth a shot. So far, the best shirt/paint combo seems to be the gray/blue. Attached is a pic of the black one. Other shirt colors may be hard to come by, because although these are decent quality shirts, they are bargain shirts that come in a two-pack from the undershirt section of Walmart. The options are generally white, black or gray. To get better shirts will cost more, like the special Target shirts that are $7 or $9 each... I guess if people wouldn't mind spending $20 per shirt I could use those better ones. But I am can't be presumptuous enough to think that my creations merit that kinda dough. I was thinking of postage plus $15, if you can live with that. I would need to know if you want S, M, L, or XL, and gray, black, or white. (I think white may look a little too "undershirtish," though.) Please understand, if you would like me to make you one of these, that this is not my business, and I am doing this more because I enjoy making things for people that they will use and like and maybe even be proud of. I guess I'm just happy making back the cost of materials plus a little for my time. I cannot really make promises about delivery times, since I have to do this in reclaimed free time, but I suppose that "within a week" is a doable thing. At this point, I don't have any of these "in stock" and I just used the second of my only two t-shirts. (This did start off, after all, simply as an experiment.) Thanks again for all your compliments and interest. I'm feeling very flattered about now! -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" flyangel2 2 #31 December 31, 2004 Maybe make the logo a tad smaller and put it on either side of the upper chest and on a girly shirt. (The female's can be even smaller...maybe 25%.) On men's shirts, you begin logos (used to do the superman logos) about 2.5" or 3" down CF.
Superman32 0 #33 December 31, 2004 Have you considered making a small logo where a left pocket would be and the large logo on the back. I really don't like shirts with large picture on the front Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!

skyflyingbecca 0 #35 December 31, 2004 Sweeet. I like. I'll have to agree with the chickies about the girly shirts. Maybe I'll get a nice one from old navy and give it to you. I think a light sky blue with the darker blue paint. That would be sweet. "I know it's friday night, but come on. Surely there's something better to do than yell at people on the internet?" - Tom A. I'll definitely be considering modifying the design for girly shirts, and of course if people are ordering these I will try to accomodate special requests like smaller this or that. Please remember, though, I'm no graphic artist, I'm just a regular guy having fun with this and hopefully making a handful of people happy with something they'll enjoy wearing. I'm checking out girly t-shirts to do work on this week. I'll keep you posted. -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... Hard line, hard line after hard line!" You know I still owe you for the loan of your rig, the appreciation for which has not left me or been forgotten. making you one! And that's a great idea for the shirts: Old Navy. I'll be going to check them out sometime soon as an alternative source to Walmart, which is somewhat limited. Blue skies, -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind... peacefuljeffrey 0 #41 January 6, 2005 Hi again everyone. Tonight I painted two new shirts, a guy one and a girlie one. Here are two pics of the girlie one. It's a pink girlie t-shirt and I took the advice and made a small icon over the upper left chest rather than smack in the middle of the shirt. The paint is glow green. If you'll notice, I did not brush-stroke this one, I used the "dimensional paint" nozzle on the tube, which makes raised lines rather than flat brush strokes. They have a relief to them when dry. I cannot yet say how durable they will be, but this is the intended application for the paint, so I imagine they'll do alright. I definitely recommend hand-washing for them, though, just to preserve their life. I know that those who have expressed interest in shirts are mostly waiting on black ones. I bought a few black shirts today but I have to launder them before painting them (s.o.p.) so they'll be started in a day or so. Thanks for your patience. If you want this kind of small upper left design instead of the kind like on the first shirt pics, please let me know soon. (By the way, if anyone wants a navy blue shirt, please tell me. I bought some navy shirts thinking they were black -- hence the delay, and my having to go out and buy more shirts today. The ones I thought were black are already washed and ready to paint. D'oh!) So here is the pink shirt. P.S. This design says "Chickskydive" next to the icon. I was feeling goofy and wanted some verbage on the shirt. Please let me know what other "sayings" you think would be cool on the shirts. (My "fonts" are limited to what my handwriting can do!) -Jeffrey-Jeffrey "With tha thoughts of a militant mind...
