There were some people on the form loads that were doing it for their beer-time. Of course, I will not mention the names of any of those people like Katie. Three tandems with some obnoxious strippers that afternoon. Emel 0 #7 January 3, 2005 It worked out good. The first weekend of the year and I had a bunch of firsts. -a new DZ, first time away from where I first jumped. -a new rig. I went from 220 with a ripcord to a 175 with a pilot chute. I love it. -a new plane-Beech 19. Only thing I have ever exited from is a 182. I love the ride and the exit. So much faster than what I am used to. -4 jumps in one weekend as opposed to 2 being my previous max jumps in a weekend -2 stand up landings with new canopy -stable in FF with no unintentional turns or spins (that's improvement for me) -meet a lot of great new friends -saw my first pie experience...poor guy! -first ride down from intended jump altitude-too cloudy JM wouldn't let me exit-not happy but pilot gave me a great ride down-Thanks Jeff. boinky 0 #8 January 3, 2005 2 New Years Day. I'm a CRWdog at heart, but they rocked just the same!!! I jumped from a Cessna 185 into a private airstrip. Wow, I love having friends with friends. The first was a solo from 5600 ft. with just flips and rolls. The 2'nd one was a 2-way from 5200 ft. I'm happy to report that with as few RW jumps that I have, the exit came off great and came into a round. If I had remembered what sticking your tongue out meant, we might have gotten another dock. As it was, we turned and tracked at 4000 ft. Made an absolutely awesome landing perfectly in front of the hangar. What a way to start my New Year!
