aprilcat 0 #1 December 31, 2004 Have you ever run into someone on the internet that was so obnoxious you think that they wouldn't (or couldn't) POSSIBLY be that disgusting in real life for fear of their personal safety? The type of person that takes a tragedy and makes light of it? You don't think those people are real but they are! I saw on the news this morning ONE (count 'em...just ONE) person who survived the tsunami on a resort and was not affected. This man said that it didn't hit his side of the beach and he had a happy Christmas and is looking forward to staying there for New Years, which will also be enjoyable. I'm aware that editing could have been done to remove any concern this guy could have stated for the sake of sensationalism---but that smile was unbelieveable! The piece was on NBC's Today show...just a blurb...but I'm sure that you'll see THIS asshat on the later broadcasts tonight. I'm sure his parents are very proud.
