funks 1 #1 December 27, 2004 So I am watching Oceans 11 on tv last night for about the 10th time. There is a part during the robbery that i still cant freakin figure out and it is driving me nuts... Its the part where Brad Pitt is walking through the casino talking to benedict on the cell phone and benedict says "you are near the slot machines" and Brad Pitt responds by saying "Yes, I am even staying in your casino, I have two words for you MINI BAR" what the hell did he mean when he says mini bar???? Anyway.....When I checked out I had a few charges against my room from the mini bar even thou I didn't use anything. I guess when I lifted the bottles out of the fridge a sensor marked it as "used." I guess they are used to that as they removed the charges without even looking at the stock._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... Where do the flyers come from that are in the bags that are carried out of the vault and into the van? Danny and Linus couldn't have taken them down there and there is no room with the Chinese man and they are carried out to the van before the SWAT team appears. It's a huge plot hole in that those flyers are vital to pulling off the entire heist. Me and my brother both turned to each other and asked the same question when we saw this in the movies for the first time. Later on I bought it on dvd and during the director's commentary he said that it was an error in the plot and has no clue how the flyers would have gotten down there. bch7773 0 #16 December 28, 2004 simple... they found all those porno flyers already in the vault... turns out benedict had a fetish for porno flyers and kept a whole bunch in his vault. EDIT ah just thought about it some more... it really is plausible... the flyers in the van were already in the van before they put in the bags... the bags were folded in the bottom of the chinese guys box thing, and they had some small weights in them to feel heavy. then the robbers puffed up the bags to look full, and put them in the elevator empty. the flyers were placed under the lining of the van interior, along with some high explosive, so when it exploded, flyers were sent everywhere. the flyers that were in the vault when it exploded were brought in by the SWAT team. ok so it doesn't really make sense, but it IS quite possible.
