Dougiefresh 0 #5 December 25, 2004 Yeah, it's pretty good. The only thing I don't like about it is the (edit: seemingly) fake backgrounds that make it look like people are flying 100 feet off the ground for miles. But some of the stuff at Eloy is just incredible. Edit: I don't know anything about photography. After Diablo's response I looked up long lens compression. Neat stuff.Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. --Douglas Adams

It's a pretty cool side effect from a million dollar camera. Think about how it was shot and you may not think it so fake.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously. newshooter12 0 #7 December 25, 2004 i concur with jp... that expensive camera has a very very long lens. long lenses tend to compress the image making far away things look closer. Think of a crowd shot at a concert where it looks like there are dozens of people standing in the same square foot. in reality they may be quite a distance away. matt
ifall 0 #8 December 25, 2004 QuoteHEY i havent talked to you in forever!!!!!!!! merry christmas!!!! you should come to eloy Merry Christmas to you too!!! Wish I could make it. I can't take off work from Dec. 'till about late Feb. due to peak season at work. Saving up for this summer though. I agree with what JP and newshooter12 say about the camera too. It's not fake. Cameraman did a great job staying on the jumpers. Very cool side effect of such a very good camera.
