Amanduh 0 #1 December 22, 2004 So, I hear that Waller and Aggieland will be closed for the New Year. I was just wondering how many people in the Texas / Houston area are planning on coming out and jumping at Spaceland to bring in the new year?

flyingferret 0 #3 December 22, 2004 Well....I got an answer for you, but not around Waller. The only place I know that will be open is Eagle Flight Skydiving in Granbury. I think even SDD is closed. But everyone I know will be at Eagle Flight to ring in the new year.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI.
Amanduh 0 #4 December 22, 2004 Hmm...Might take some persuading, Shari. We'll work something out I'm sure though....

Brigitte36 0 #17 December 23, 2004 They had me scheduled for Christmas and New Years and I just found out today that they decided to close!! Yay! Now since I am all alone I think I will take a road trip and look for DZ to jump at close by, well...relatively close by, TX being where it is and as big as it is....it's time I got CURRENT!!! (3 months off!!) Where is closest DZ to San Antonio and/ or Carrizo Springs??? Anyone know off-hand before I have to do a detailed search online?
 jumperconway 0 #18 December 23, 2004 The closest full sized dz with a turbine (caravan) is Skydive San Marcos. I usually jump over there every couple of weeks as Spaceland is home.
