SpeedRacer 1 #26 December 22, 2004 haven't tried Messina Hof. Is that a wine? There's also this Califonia Riesling I've had that's real good. Saint something or other.... Speed Racer --------------------------------------------------
AggieDave 6 #27 December 22, 2004 Its a winery, a local one here in Texas. Decent wine, they're signature wine "Paulo" has won a lot of awards and such. That doesn't mean anything, what does mean something is that it tastes really good.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." SpeedRacer 1 #28 December 22, 2004 OK someone here try this: get a bottle of a fruity red wine, such as a good shiraz. in a pot dissolve 1/4 cup of sugar in 1/2 cup of water with cinnamon and cloves and maybe some nutmeg. (optional, add the zest from an orange and a lemon) Heat until simmering & sugar is all dissolved. Pour in the bottle of wine & heat until hot, but do not boil. slice up the orange and the lemon & cut the slices in half. put an orange or lemon slice in a glass, pour in the mulled wine & add a cinnamon stick. happy fuckin' holidaze!
