kamih 0 #2 December 20, 2004 I was there in Oct this year. Did 15min. Was fun as hell I'll be there next week actually, and probably also in Jan before I come back to NJ. If you can afford it, you should get at least 15min a day. It goes by pretty fast and the first couple of sessions you're basically learning to fly all over again. And no it doesn't count for your freefall time, it counts for your tunnel time Have fun!
flyangel2 2 #3 December 20, 2004 Quotedoes it count towards my freefall time? Nope, but what you learn in the tunnel will help you in real life freefall. QuoteIs 5 mins per day enough?? Depends on what you are working on. For me, there is never enough time in the tunnel.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

MikeJD 0 #5 December 20, 2004 I've been twice, and had an awesome time. You'll need to watch the airflow near the edges of the tunnel - unlike most of the other designs I've heard about, the pressure drops right off close to the sides and you're liable to end up on the floor in a hurry if you're not careful. On the plus side, it's warmer than many tunnels since it's completely enclosed and the air is recirculated inside the building rather than being drawn from outside. It can actually get uncomfortably hot in there. And it's always very dry, so drink lots of water! If you're booked in for a particular time you might find you need to be flexible or have a fight about it - the staff like you to share the time with other groups so you might find yourself either waiting a while or being rushed in there. Have a great time and don't forget to post about how you got on!
lemonjelly 0 #6 December 20, 2004 Cheers. I shall. Really going to sort out my "left leg problem" Got this thing out dropping my left leg and initiating a spin. Not nice. Gonna film my time and Hopefully I'll be positive when I return.************************************************* RED LIGHTS & OFF LANDINGS ARE JUST MY THANG http://www.redlightrob.co.uk
