it's funny you mention that :D. I always catch myself studying people's idiosyncrasies :S - sometimes i feel like a dork for doing it, but i truly can't help it :)*

Music and art, but you only allowed me one choice. :D I ended up studying classical piano for 10 years as a result. I draw for fun and usually end up drawing cartoon characters when I do draw. :$

Music - I went to a conservatory and dual majored in jazz and classical performance on trombone and was taking all but classes for a minor in jazz and classical piano but decided not to declare two minors on top of two majors :S

I went from that to computer programming and skydiving :D

Reading everyone's replies was fun! Who knew skydivers were such methodical and calculative people? ;) Math is #1 on fav subjects. I like math, too.... but I don't think i'm all that good at it when I compare myself to some of my classmates. I can do a diff eq problem, but when faced with the projects I just couldn't figure out where to begin! :( I sure wish I was better with Physics, too. I get by, and I got 'A's just like in math, but I really still feel like i'm missing something.

Well, I do like chemistry, and I am applying to schools for Chem Engineering. I went from wanting to study Psychology in HS, to Pharmacy early in college (mostly for $$), to Chemistry, Marine Bio, then Chem Engineering. I hope I don't change my mind again before I get into a school, lol!

YAY for finals being over!!!

That's a difficult question... I think I was equally interested in all subjects, but more interested in one or another at different times... well, except for history - that's the one subject I never liked very much for some reason (though I wish that I would have liked it more because I am now very lacking in my history knowledge). I was most encouraged by all of my English teachers and thought I would pursue a career in writing, but at some point I quit writing because I didn't enjoy it anymore.

At the moment, I am going back to school, and I seem to be most interested in science classes (pretty much any of them). I'm taking Chemistry and Anatomy & Physiology this coming semester... And I just finished a Psychology class that I really enjoyed (but unfortunately I'm not really in a position to spend the amount of time in school that it would take to pursue a career in psychology - even though I would love to).

That's another reason I chose Chem Engineering over Chemistry. Just in case I get totally sick of school and want to get a job with my BS. I would get a better paying job with a BS in Chem Engineering than Chemistry. I might end up getting my MS in Chemistry, but we'll see. :)

I was an abstract math major in college, for some reason it just came easy to me.....well, up until topology, that stuff is just out there.

I did it because it gave me the grades to apply to med school.

Plus, it was fun when only 2 other people on campus could understand my senior thesis.B| (My O-chem prof not being one of them, and let me tell you how good it felt to talk to him like he was an idiot for not being able to comprehend simple math.....B|)

I was a Computer Sci Major but I also was a Geology Major.....I realized the Comp Sci would pay the bills and the Geology was good for kewl getaway field trips.
I liked my sledge hammer I cut down to hammer size so I could bring back "samples".. that other students called outcrops rather than hand samples.
