I have to completely agree. What I can't believe is that it's Paul McCartney...one of the greatest songwriters of all time...WTF? I think he meant to give that song to Yoko Ono and she turned it down.

I love most Christmas songs. I even have the all Christmas song station programmed on my radio, but even I can't stand the 12 Days of Christmas!

Maybe another reason I can't stand it is because for many years, my dad has made everyone sing it at our holiday gatherings before we open presents. To put a spin on it, we have to change the lyrics to something we'd want in our lives. I have the gayest family on earth! I refuse to sing it every year though and then they call me a Scrooge all night. It's the only thing that takes me out of the Christmas mood.

Sleigh ride is the worst.

I used to be in band and we played that at every Christmas concert. So for 2 months prior we practiced it and played it.

Not to mention all the trumpet players that would do that damn horse whinny sound all year...
