airdweller 0 #1 December 13, 2004 Chris won, but more importantly did anyone see the skydive towards the end?------------------------------------------------------ "From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?" ChangoLanzao 0 #2 December 13, 2004 Yeah ... that was pretty cool ;-) Was it really him or a double?
Remster 30 #3 December 13, 2004 The skydive was as the transition from the island to Hollywwod (he jumped from an otter, with the voting box in the main tray of the container! )Remster
Remster 30 #4 December 13, 2004 Quotehim or a double? Looked like him... would be a very close looking double.Remster
sunshine 2 #5 December 13, 2004 QuoteLooked like him... would be a very close looking double. Me thinks it was both. Looked like the close ups in freefall were him maybe in a very early AFF level. But i think they edited some in of a stunt double too. Was one helluva transition to the live part of the show. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! Remster 30 #6 December 13, 2004 QuoteWas one helluva transition to the live part of the show. Well, its cool they had skyjumping in there, but the one where he helicopters to the studio was better done IMORemster
airdweller 0 #7 December 13, 2004 Yea thats what I was thinking. I liked how the door on the plane changed from takeoff to jumprun------------------------------------------------------ "From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?" sunshine 2 #9 December 13, 2004 QuoteYea thats what I was thinking. I liked how the door on the plane changed from takeoff to jumprun Yeah. When i first saw the plane i thought it looked like an otter, but the door confused me. Then suddenly it has a jump door. It's all good to me though. I liked it. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
Zenister 0 #10 December 13, 2004 would have been funnier to watch him pull and the voting box fly out... that was just stupid... even a wuffo should have seen that his chute came out from where he 'stowed' to box.... lame lame lame....____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. ChangoLanzao 0 #11 December 13, 2004 QuoteYeah. When i first saw the plane i thought it looked like an otter, but the door confused me. Then suddenly it has a jump door. It's all good to me though. I liked it. I agree ... it was cool since most of the wuffos watching wouldn't know the difference anyway. I was surprised though when my wuffo wife even noticed that there was something not quite right when he stuffed the voting box into his main compartment -----------------------------

Who knew, I'd better go get some pointers from a rigger. Where do you I get one of these 'mains' you're "supposed" to put in it?
SBS 0 #14 December 13, 2004 It was him. I didn't see the show, so dont' know if they cut in some stunt double in parts, but he did jump. I don't know the details, but he did it in Elsinore and it was modified AFF in a couple of days. -S_____________ I'm not conceited...I'm just realistic about my awesomeness... Kbone 0 #15 December 13, 2004 I could tell it was Lake Elsinore, you could see the long skinny part of the lake near the landing area as well was the I-15 freeway stringing along the hillside.
Nutz 0 #16 December 13, 2004 Alright now, I saw something different, it looked to me like he stuffed the voting jar? in the reserve tray. I mean if fear is not a factor for him, why would he need a reserve? (Sorry - I couldn't resist. ) "Don't! Get! Eliminated!"
Remster 30 #17 December 13, 2004 Quote in the reserve tray. No... it was the main tray. Still silly... lolRemster

xtreme 0 #22 December 13, 2004 Yes! The skydive sequence was filmed at Skydive Elsinore. Jeff Probst showed up here on a Monday (for the first jump course AFF Level 1) with the mission to be "freefall filmable" by Friday. Jeff did an outstanding job throughout his training making his instructors' jobs a piece of cake as well as a pleasant experience for the entire staff at Skydive Elsinore. All the skydiving footage you saw of Jeff was actually Jeff! Yes he does his own stunts! A special thanks goes out to CBS, Survivor, and Jeff Probst for allowing us to be a part of such an incredible show. Casurf1978 0 #23 December 13, 2004 Not a bad job Jeff has huh? Gets to travel to all these exotic places, bet you he doesnt stay in the same accommodations the participants have to, probably get better food too, and he has to learn to skydive.
