DexterBase 1 #1 December 11, 2004 I was offered a digital camera for christmas. I know nothing about digital cameras. What is the best value in a low end model? I don't want to ask for an expensive one but I need a decent one I can use.

tweak 0 #3 December 11, 2004 I have a Sony CyberShot for a digital but I have a Canon Rebel-G (non-Digital) which I really like. The difference is that the CyberShot and a lot of low end digital cameras you can't attach any kind of telephoto/wide angel or specialty lense or filters. With the new digital Rebel-G you get all of the capabilities of a 35-mm camera plus the convienience of a digital camera. And the images you can take are awesome. Check out the Canon website for a demo. The next camera I'm gonna buy will be one of the Canon digitals, probably one of the Rebel-G models.
Superman32 0 #4 December 11, 2004 The SLR digitals are great, but for that greatness you sure have to pay. Inveniam Viam aut Faciam I'm back biatches!
