weegegirl 2 #1 December 3, 2004 On December 15th, I’m leaving Michigan and moving to Vienna, VA, just outside of DC. I’ve been in Michigan, and at Skydive Tecumseh, for three years – longer than I’ve lived anywhere in a loooooooooooooooong time. Skydive Tecumseh is by far the coolest dropzone I know. The people are so freaking awesome, the talent is outstanding, the new ownership and management is amazing, the airplane is fast and smooth, and the party scene is a riot. I’m really excited to come back for boogies and see how they are doing. I’m going to miss my Michigan peeps, but I can’t wait to settle in down in VA and scout out a new dz. If any dz.commers in the area want to hang out, I’d love to meet some folks – drop me a PM and we’ll go grab a drink or something.

PrairieDoug 0 #3 December 3, 2004 Vienna, VA is a great community! I used to live just down the road and dated a woman from there. It's got more of a "small town" feel than most places in the DC area, but it's still very accessible to shopping, culture, etc. Local DZs include Skydive Orange (near Culpeper), Skydive Virginia (Louisa, VA) and Hartwood Paracenter. weegegirl 2 #4 December 3, 2004 Thanks, girlie! I'm moving for a few reasons... - Much better job market. - I have a sister with her family down there that I miss a lot!! - I have a really hard time staying put. - I hate the cold - and Michigan is, well... cold. I actually can't wait. A certain someone else is coincidentally moving down to Vienna a month after me. Life is good. Change is healthy. This should be cool.
