I want a twin otter rc , I found ONE guy that makes them, but I am still wondering the quality, and he uses electric motors b/c he said they are easier to match rpm's.

They are, but the high performance brushless motors, controllers, and LiPo batteries cost a small fortune. I have well over $300 of electric power stuff in a small electric helicopter.

ps my avatar is a r/c rocket plane that I designed.

F%@K !! I just crashed a relatively new plane. Stripped the gears on the servos and toasted the battery. $50 and a few hours of swearing can fix it. Was doing low and fast inverted circles over a parking lot and "dumb thumbed" it....slpattttttt
If you're not crashing, you're not flying hard enough. B| You know you should take a break if you're ducking from your own fly bys.:o

Don't know about that. I don't crash very much any more. However, I have been doing it since 1964, so I have a little experience.

Leroy.. I'm posting here a little late.. But Congrats..:)
Remember to practice take-off and landings from right to left AND left to right before your instructor goes away.. The reverse direction sometimes gets your reflexes confused..:P

Once the plane takes off, you're gonna have to land - Might as well jump out!!

yea my old man flies helis, He's real patient and has time to burn at the bench plus he's a machinist and makes many of his own parts. Me, would rather flip start my prop, hand launch it, then fly'er till she deadsticks!

I want to find a stretch of road about 5 miles long with no utility lines / trees, then from my pickup bed (going about 20mph) I'd fly my plane in right above the cab then grab the fuselage under the wing...........then do it inverted!!!B|
