How smart is your right foot?

Recommended Posts

This is so funny that it will boggle your mind, and you will keep trying at least 50 more times to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't.

While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand, always starting from the top of the 6 down, making the circle at the bottom.

Your foot will change direction.

Please let everyone know if you were able to out smart your foot. :D

If you do it slowly enough, and move the hand motion into background processing rather than the foot, it can be done. It's a whole lot harder than patting your head while rubbing your stomach, though.

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

I found that if you do it really really quickly, then it can also be done. I can't do it slowly, but if I do it so quick that my hand motion is considerably quicker than the foot, then you can quickly do the 6 and immediately consciously think about keeping your foot going clockwise. Slowly...not a chance for me.
