Bigwallmaster 0 #1 November 29, 2004 It's seldom that I meet other skydivers who aren't involved in other sports/activities. I actually consider skydiving an alternate to my favorite sport: Alpine rock/ice climbing. In my mind, I skydive because it gives me a similar buzz to that which I feel when I am up high on a steep pitch of ice. I am curious to know what other people out there would do, if they didn't have skydiving as an option? Cheers, J.P.
hexadecimal 0 #2 November 29, 2004 I'd still be into racing (karts, motorcycles, cars), wakeboarding, snowboarding, waverunners, snowmobiling, and pretty much anything else I could find that would give me a rush. Not that it matters since I'm not a skydiver yet anyway... but I will be this spring/summer if all goes well
 BGill 0 #3 November 29, 2004 back home i'm sure i would be really into snowboarding and biking (road biking is what i've been more into lately than mountain biking) down here in australia i probably wouldve gotten into surfing, either that or kiteboarding... both of which i really want to get into but dont have the cash for there's just something about "regular" sports that just doesnt do it for me...
 VanillaSkyGirl 6 #4 November 29, 2004 I would definitely rock climb, which I used to do. I was a natural climber, very graceful and stronger than I would have thought. I would also scuba dive more, which I have done a bit (but not enough...would love to do more). I am interested in pursuing Wind Surfing, which I have yet to do. I am also considering caving at some point, but I don't know if that's considered that's a true "sport". Fire dancing also calls to me...gosh, so many things to try and such little time.
