Vallerina 2 #1 November 29, 2004 Yes, I did a search, but the music that was suggested before wasn't really "it." So, what music do you like to workout to? Please be specific (song and artist!) I like running to silly songs: Daisy Dukes - 69 Boys Bombs Over Baghdad - Outkast Boom! I Got Your Boyfriend - 20 Fingers No Limit - 2 Unlimited I'm Horny - I don't know who Black Betty (Techno Remix) - Ram Jam I'm getting bored of my music. Please help! jumper03 0 #2 November 29, 2004 I listen to Gun's and Roses AFD....over and over again - especially on long runs. Poison, Metallica, Motely Crue, anything with a hard driving beat to it. I listen to country a lot but I just cannot work out to it. It ain't happen' bubba.Scars remind us that the past is real
BillyVance 34 #3 November 29, 2004 listening to music on the run never did me any good. But, I used to pop in a cassette of Survivor and listen to "Eye of the tiger" at full blast on the way to races just to get psyched up for many of the 5Ks, 10Ks and the 2 marathons I ran in during the 80's and early 90's. Acensky 0 #4 November 29, 2004 I don't have a lits of songs I run to. Just anything with a good and fast bass on it. I really don't listen to the song I just use the beat to pace myself. Sorry I couldn't be more help. HeatherGarbage bags do not make good parachutes.
tigra 0 #5 November 29, 2004 Right now my favorite CD to work out with is a live Violent Femmes disc. Its really long (an hour or more) and the songs just get me moving!
Amanduh 0 #6 November 29, 2004 Try some Save Ferris if you like upbeat punk rock. They do an awesome remake of 'Come on Eileen' I use to have a CD strictly for working out and it consisted of Blink 182, Save Ferris, AFI, Cruiserweight http://www.cruiserweight.com , etc , etc , etc. Really gets your pulse pumping. A Violent Femmes fan! Sweet! Not many of us left out there. Awesome band! I don't listen to anything when I am running outside, but when I run on the treadmill at home, I usually pop in a skydiving video on the tv in front of me. Passes the time very well! RevJim 0 #16 November 29, 2004 To this day I've been unable to find a copy, but here goes... Did anyone here watch the Stephen King miniseries, Kingdom Hospital? In the series, Peter Rickman (portrayed by Jack Coleman) was out running. His walkman/ipod/whatever was playing a certain song, before and after he was hit. This song is repeated many times during the series, and I LOVE it! It seems to be my perfect running song, despite where I first heard it. If anyone happens to find it, let me know...It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#
AggieDave 6 #17 November 29, 2004 For running I have some USMC running jodies that I put in my MP3 player. It's perfect. For lifting I put some heavy metal (i.e. Sepultura).--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

RevJim 0 #19 November 29, 2004 Noice! Thanks Sunny! I didn't realize it had gone to DVD. I'll look locally for it, if for no other reason than to scan the credits. (Who am I kidding? I'll copy it first, then return it) It's your life, live it! Karma RB#684 "Corcho", ASK#60, Muff#3520, NCB#398, NHDZ#4, C-33989, DG#
skreamer 1 #20 November 29, 2004 Placebo, Pixies and Pearl Jam. Dunno why but the P bands are good for running. Especially Pearl Jam's Live on Two Legs.
Morcyk 0 #21 November 29, 2004 Haven't run in a long long time, but if I did it would probably be the same list from the "skydiving songs" thread.
Sheenster303 0 #22 November 29, 2004 When I was younger, I used to go running with my sister all the time and we listened to the Top Gun soundtrack. For some reason, it always made us keep going.I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
Icon134 0 #23 November 29, 2004 Running is fun... I don't usually listen to music. I do listen to music or watch a movie when I'm on my rowing machine (due to the lack of natural scenery.) Limp Bizkit - several songs Peter Gabriel - Solsbury Hill in general anything with a good beat worked pretty well. Scott
windcatcher 0 #24 November 29, 2004 I'm cool, I like to listen to Dylan, Van Morrison, U2, Jimmy Eat World, P.O.D, anything to keep me distracted from my heavy breathing! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
