jimwallace 0 #1 August 26, 2009 Does anyone have information on how to convert the brake lines on a Parafoil 282, from the daisy chain to the cats eye type.
phoenixlpr 0 #2 August 26, 2009 Why do you want to do it? You just loose the possibility that you can adjust you break setting for opening.

jerolim 7 #5 August 27, 2009 It is quite easy, first you mark place on brake line where you want to have cat eye, then you must cut a new piece of Dacron -> measure long cat eye loop should be and add 14 centimeters to it. Finally finger trap 7 cm from marked place up the line, leave Dacron parallel to brake line for length of cat eye, and finger trap 7 cm down the line. Bar tack 1 cm from insertion point. Good luck

Once you figure out where the best opening position is on the brake stow, why not have a cat's eye for it? The daisy chain method is time consuming, and can cause problems. I've had 'em bind up so tight on opening that they won't release, no matter how hard you pull. The only downside is what? Having a tiny little "bump" that goes through the steering line riser ring as you work the brakes up and down?

Accuracy is a classic disciplines. BTW. What do you think you most people sets his/her bakes on the ground/floor? Quote The only downside is what?
