Funny story...first time I ever crossed the border I was driving my car, wearing a Dead shirt, with hair down to my ass. They pulled me over and took my car apart. Including the door panels. They didn't find anything, but when they put my doors back together they fixed the buzzing sound from the speaker in my driver side door. That was the Canadian border guard. And another one, travelling with a digital camera, like 7 years ago before anyone had heard of such a thing. The Canadians saw it in the XRay, stopped me and checked it out. US border guards? Nada.
