HOW to tell....

how to tell to a client that i lost all the 100 pictures
the client payed me very well and i fucked up the job today
it`s not my fault
my memory stick just suck... i lost all the data from it!!!
so
how can i tell to the client this "news"?
any advice is appreciated
I`M DOWN :(:(:(

Tell your client the memory stick has lost the data but that you are willing to pay for a professional data recovery company to try and recover the images.

This way you temper the bad news with (a) hope, and (b) the fact that you are doing all you can to get the photographs back.

Besides - you might be able to get the data back this way.

i shoot some buildings so i`ll can shoot them tomorow if my client will understand it
i`ll tell him that i`ll refund the money if he want

the best thing to do is be honest. People (ME) hate it when somone lies to them to cover up a mistake. once you lie it becomes incompetance. have some professional couretsy and they'll understand. they may not be happy but they'll understand.

if your just taking picture of a building, whats holding you back form going again today(or another weather friendly day)

HA!!!, You better have a few hundreds, or, do some research for recovery software, you might find some shareware/freeware out there.
