This was an assignment for a landscape class i took this semester. I just got around to scanning in the slides i got back after getting an A

Real pictures like naked chicks on motorcycles or naked chicks with guns...even better, how about some naked chicks with cowboy boots and nice felt stetsons, holding rifles on and around a lifted chevy pickup?

imho only #8 and #10 are really good, the others are either too contrasty, not well composed, or just... well, not striking enough i guess. but good job on those two!

BTW what film are you using? (i'm assuming it's not a digital camera, because #8 is in proportion 3:2 rather than 4:3, and chances are you didn't crop it)

ya these are all scans off of 35mm Kodak E100VS. The slides are much better in terms of color and contrast and such. Some of them are cropped some are full frame.

Landscape photography is a whole lot tougher than snapping from a viewpoint. Good work.

I agree that not all the compositions are tweaked to their possibility. And #1 either didn't shrink well to postable size, or needs some fill flash.

Lens': Nikkor 24-120VR, Tamron 70-300, 105mm Macro. used kodak e100vs slide film and a nice sturdy tripod.

Canon DSLRs are a 3:2 proportion... so that is not a good standard to use in distiguishing digi from film.
