Greg 0 #30 May 1, 2001 WOW!! If I figgure a minimum of three minutes for each post, .........lets see...............277 posts x 3 minutes = 831 minutes831 minutes / 60 = 13.85 hours13.85 hours x $50.00 (engineering hourly rate less G&A and Profit) = $692.50 Hmmmmmmm.......G&A = $692.50 x %1.1 = $761.75Profit = $761.75 x %1.15 = $876.01$876.01, thats roughly how much my boss has lost on me.......so far.........hee hee hee!! To be honest, I thought it would have been more. I guess I will have to try harder. I need to try to get the "bonus" I felt I deserved, but did not get last year for Christmas, which I figgure to be somewhere around $5,000.00.Greg A-37958
SkymonkeyONE 4 #31 May 2, 2001 Just lost my "newbie" tag yesterday, thank God. I must say that I am quite happy to have a better mannered forum to follow nowadays. The Wreck Dot newsgroup is so crammed with spam that I can't hardly stand to even check it anymore. I am especially happy that I can respond in specific forums without fear of mindless clutter when need be. I really do enjoy helping out others and DO seem to spend an exhorbitant amount of time on the computer. Lucky me, I have very little to do at work (just over a year from military retirement) and don't feel one bit of guilt as I type away and drink my coffee. Good thing I have a high metabolism or I might be growing outward at an alarming rate due to the many ice cream sandwiches I consume at work. Ciao,Chuck
PalmettoTiger 1 #32 May 2, 2001 QuoteThe Wreck Dot newsgroup is so crammed with spam that I can't hardly stand to even check it anymore.True that!! Sangiro, congrats on having an actual useful forum, where the word CYPRES can be posted without generating 18-day flame wars that are identical to the previous month's 18-day flame wars. I've quit rec.skydiving entirely in favor of DZ.com forums, and I'm positive that a question asked here will get more answers (not to mention more useful answers) than on wreckdot.Blues, squares,PTiger

RevJim 0 #35 October 31, 2004 Retro Friday, carried over to Sunday... Ahhh, some long for the days of post whoring for numbers and titles. I just like seeing a thread that shows skreamer with over six times the posts as aggiedave, and Clay's 'present username' not even on the list. Look at those post numbers, people. See anyone you recognize? see yourself maybe? We've come a looooog way, baby! It's your life, live it!
