Alright, I'm not a huge poster on DZ.com, but I thought I'd give this a shot..

I'm going to be out at Perris Valley from November 15th - 18th, staying in the IHOP...

Now I kinda have this thing where I hate looking like an idiot standing around a new DZ cuz I don't know anyone (which really doesn't matter, once I start skydiving I usually look like an idiot anyway!)

But I was wondering if theres anyone who surfs the boards here who I could make a few jumps with until I get in the groove of things and meet some people?

Just checkin!

Jourdan

November 15th is a Monday. Typically the weekedays are very lightly attended at Perris in November. If the weather is good, there will be people there ready to get things started around 9 am. You might also want to check out the tunnel which probably will operate after sunset as well. (Bring money -- lots.)

When you want to jump, your first stop is going to need to be Square One for gear checks. Have your rig and packing data card. Next will be the Manifest office for waivers, DZ briefing and whatnot. Have your USPA card and logbook as well as the gear check paper you got in Square One. (Bring money -- again, lots). While you're in Manifest, mention you're looking for someone to jump with and they'll hook you up.

Don't forget the wonderful video at the school that will take about 30 minutes of his time. They'll check the logbook there. Waivers are signed there, not at manifest.
