"Ripcord", a 1962 TV show which was based on skydiving.

"Fathom", a 1967 movie in which Raquel Welch can be seen correctly packing a ParaCommander.

"Bionic Woman", a 1976 TV show in which the lead character became bionic as the result on injuries in a skydiving accident. The accident was always replayed during the lead-in.

"How can someone forget Fandango...."

I'd betcha Costner wishes he could.

Why would Costner want to forget the best work he's ever done?
(OK, some people say his best work was in "The Big Chill".;))

You can see lots of skydiving scenes from TV and movies at http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=14. Almost every TV show mentioned is on there...

Didn't see anyone mention the ER skydiving scene, lots of shows on TLC/Discovery channels, real TV almost always has skydiving, and even the weather channel did a show about skydiving and how weather affects it.

Its just sad that I know this but..

Movie: Win a date with Tad Hamilton

Paris Hilton (in a very small bikini) parachutes into a swimming pool. Then walks out of the pool with half her ass hanging out and... what were we talking about again.. There is an out take of the same scene in the "bonus" section of the DVD.

Through complicated Amazon search gone wrong (I don't want to talk about it) I came across an obvious classic called Freefall, starring (not sure I can use the word in this context?) Eric Roberts..... No idea what its about but it does have picutre of a parachute on the front, and I suppose a bit of a clue in the title.

Anyone seen it? Is it as depressingly terrible as it looks?

I don't recall watching that movie, but here's something about it.
