livendive 8 #51 October 18, 2004 ...:4:0 2nd weekend in a row that only involved 4 jumps. One tandem, one freefly, one hop & pop, and one flour bombing contest. Should be able to make up for it next weekend though, provided the weather cooperates and enough jumpers show up at the little shindig a friend and I are putting on. scottbre 0 #54 October 18, 2004 QuoteNot a skydiving weekend, but Bridge Day rocked. Bridge Day did rock (and I didn't even jump), but for me, it was still a skydiving weekend, cause I stopped by SGC on my way home from Bridge Day. 1*:3:2 *funny video of a friend streaking through the Holiday Inn at Bridge Day on Sat. Night Firsts: I had several first this weekend, but if we're only talking skydiving firsts then just two. Did my first Birdman jump on Sunday. Jump one: Average speed of 58 mph Jump two: Average speed of 69 mph, and had my first Birdman dock on a fellow Birdman. Thanks Pete for letting me borrow your GTi suit and thanks Phree for training and flying with me. Funny thing is that I did a freefly jump before my two birdman jumps that I completely forgot about until I saw it on my video camera when I was reviewing my footage from the birdman jumps... justchrisdsp 0 #56 October 18, 2004 0-14-keg 14 great jumps, did about 6 rw jumps, couple of them ended up in zoo dives fun anyway, 1 hop n pop, and the rest were me practicing my sit, actually held it for a while too, as for the beer, i lost twice in a game of beer hackey, inquire further if you want to know what that is, and i landed on the tarmac trying to get real close to the hangar so i could pac and be on the next load, also landed in a field a within walking distance of the dz cause of a pretty nasty line twist The only bad skydive is your last! chris "sonic wookie" harwell Piedra-belluda-roja Rodriguez

How did youmanage to be "under a good canopy" that was still in the bag? Am I missing something here? I typed that wrong I noticed I wasn't under a good canopy...Sorry. When I pulled I felt the pilot chute catch me then when I should normally be under a good canopy I was still falling terminal...I looked up and saw that there was still a couple closing stows holding the thing in and then I chopped. --joe--joe HISPA #69 The Best Band in the WORLD!!!
