scottbre 0 #1 October 12, 2004 I'm sure this is a little creepy to most people, but having seen Suicide Club, it is especially creepy to me (as it probably is to anyone else who's seen this movie). http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6230510/ "Your mother's full of stupidjuice!" melstarr 0 #2 October 12, 2004 i've seen the movie Suicide Club ~ it's a rather scattered movie leaving so many doors open that it's confusing and stupid... but it does highly relate to these True Events of Suicide * ~ meL* Pink Mafia / Tunnel Mafia Sister

popsjumper 2 #5 October 12, 2004 Yep....I got my very computer first virus from MSN and I couldn't put any trust in MSNBC if for no other reason than the similarity in acronyms. My reality and yours are quite different. Casch 0 #8 October 12, 2004 I didn't get a single pop-up at all, and I don't run any sort of anti-popup programs. Quote“Young people today don’t have a sense of reality about death,” Shimizu said. “They are approaching it as an extension of a game in cyberworld.” I don't believe that for a second. These people that are doing this suicide pact thing are simply emotionally unstable and the internet provides them with the possibility to hook up with hundreds of thousands of equally unstable people. Instead of seeking help, counseling, over their broken relationship or dead dog, they become shutins and talk with other suicidal people online. With that sort of environment it's only going to feed the already existing desire to end it all. And they do. It's too bad. Maybe these suicide websites should be required to provide ads for counseling or something?
captain1 0 #9 October 12, 2004 Japan always had a high suicide rate through the ages whether in peace or war. It has a lot to due with honor and their culture. The reasons for it just change a little from generation to generation.
