Super duper fun stuff at SDC. Val rocks. The only thing missing this weekend was opie. It's so sad when he's not around. Lainey 0 #36 October 11, 2004 0:4:0 A lazy weekend, both days the weather was beautiful so I spent a lot of time lying around on the grass in the sun talking and thinking about getting up and actually jumping. Had fun though, one of my jumps was a tandem with a fellow jumper who was going for his tandem rating, so weird to be a passenger again, i did everything i could to catch him out but he did a perfect job getting us stable and the jump went great but my gosh how uncomfy are those harnesses compared to sports rigs! yikes. Had to do a bunch of "relative work" this weekend in Amsterdam, so no jumping, maybe next weekend I'll get a jump in. Iwan

wildblue 7 #49 October 11, 2004 Too much to put into numbers! Busy busy weekend! I even saw a bellydancer do her thing with a beer on her head! I got to razz Phree for a landing, saw a jousting tournement, pulled off a halfway decent freefly jump, got a case of Red Bull (I love Sam's club!), saw a paraplegic skydive (well, I caught it on the ness at least) - kudos to SGC and Treeboy for making that happen. I even managed to drink too much in there somewhere it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
dreamsville 0 #50 October 11, 2004 We have had our 7th or 8th sunny weekend in a row here (Chicago). 10 jumps, R/W and head-down. I cannot recall a better jumping season here, starting in August and going forward. |I don't drink during the day, so I don't know what it is about this airline. I keep falling out the door of the plane. Harry, FB #4143
