What would you do?

Recommended Posts

My wife is working today, so we have a babysitter "on call" in case I get called in to work. It doesn't appear that I will get called, and my allergies have cleared up. So I'm kickin around the idea of calling in the sitter to go make a jump or two. What do you think, should I stay home with the kids, or exploit the sitter?

Hmmm. Look into your kids' eyes and say, "Okay, kids. Daddy would rather skydive than hang out with you so I'm getting a sitter. Maybe I'll leave some money so that the sitter can take you someplace I could be taking you."

Have I deflated you in a most cruel way???:P

My wife is hotter than your wife.

Yeah my sister did the same thing to me :( Think I'm gonna wait till the wife gets off of work and hope I still haven't gone to work

And, even if you decided to become a gamer, use two monitors, whatever; you can always buy a video card with memory on it.

The catch is you HAVE to bring your sitter and the sitter HAS to watch the kids.

I'm tired of going to DZs and seeing kids hauling ass across the packing mat and stuff like that b/c the parents aren't watching or the person supposed to be watching is on a load, etc.

Yeah that bugs me too. When we do take our kids to the DZ we keep them on a pretty short leash. That's why I didn't want to take them. If I'm there I'll want to jump, but I refuse to leave my kids on the ground unsupervised. Not gonna happen. And can't take the sitter with cause I have 2 kids and a regular cab truck. Wife took the van to work. So I'll wait till she gets home. 3 more hours [:/]
