Recommended Posts

That's right !!! you heard me
i quit smoking. and instead of enjoying my last smoke, i stood it up and let it burn like on the picture of the cig pack!!!!
i took 2 interesting shots of it!
kinda neat looking.....but it feels good to finally be done with this filthy habit.

i'm going to celebrate with some beer.

Sweet pictures Adam!!! Way to go dude..

Better to quit now then later.

Smoking seems to be one of the only socially acceptable activities in which the vast majority of participants are actively seeking ways to cease participation.

Now if only I could resist the urge to light up when I'm drinking.

Dude, I'm very happy to read you're quitting smoking! May you succeed fully.

Um, don't overdue the beer to compensate, though. :P

Good move Adam. Congratulations! B|

I quit a long time ago, and I think this is the greatest move i've ever made in my life.

EDIT: to remove " one of the greatest move" to put instead " the greatest move"

;)

Yves.

If you want to stay clear of cigarettes, go light on the beer.

Alcohol triggers the craving for nicotine and lowers your inhibitions. You may be weeks past the last urge and think you're in the clear, but after a few beers a cigarette seems to grow out of your hand.

Marlboros are a nastier jones than narcotics, so don't get complacent. Good luck.

Good luck Adam. Quitting smoking was hell for me but one of the best things I've ever done. I was a heavy smoker for 16 years (more than a pack a day) and I passed 21 years of not smoking last May.

All the best,

That is the most selfish thing I've heard, do you realise for every person that gives up smoking some poor guy
looses his job,do you really want to be resonsible for putting a family out on the street. an not to think of the amount of revenue the hospitals an clinics are going to loose, then theres the tax the governments going the miss out on

Think again Think of the cowboy ridding his pony on the open plain

Uncle Sam needs smokers, we need smokers smoke man smoke

twenty packs a day an counting

Gone fishing

If I didn't like beer so much I would quit. However, I KNOW that the only way I could totally give up smoking is to also quit drinking. Hmmmm......I COULD do that.......but I'm pretty sure I'd end up in a mental institution in no time flat. My sanity wouldn't stay long without alcohol and skydiving. ;) I did notice that I haven't had near the urge to drink that I usually do in the last few days. Seems the news that I can go back to Atlanta has lifted my general depression. :D
