... my parents. :P

Means "Falcon" in old germanic language. Rare name so I was lucky it wasn't already taken on DZ.com. ;)

When I first used AOL in 1994, I was being my degree in engineering. The engineering course prefix was EGR. So I named myself EGRGirl. I started receiving a barrage of the dirtiest ickiest IMs and emails from other AOL users. It took me a few days to figure out why, those dirty people were reading it as “eager girl”, not “engineering girl”. So I renamed my self lostinspace, hoping no perves would come looking for me.

Then why did you start skydiving?

Yeah, back in the day (early 90's till about '98) I was Dark|||Knight, but I felt like I had "grown" out of that name.

Peregrine means wandering, Rose is my middle name. I moved roughly 20 times in less than 10 years and spent some time homeless, so about as nomadic as you get. It suits me. But then my husband came along and managed to make me stay put, so perhaps I should change it to ImmobleRose?

I used to work with a guy named Sridhar. One of the guys had a slight hearing problem and kept pronouncing it as "sweetheart". It made for some interesting conversations in restaurants

man....out here in NY, that's par for the course. I have a co-worker here and her last name is Assalone. Now that would surely make some interesting conversation.

What's the most you ever lost in a coin toss, Friendo?

A triple reason. First the bird, a lovely creature. Second the tendancy of 'snowbird' canucks to head south for the winter, something I'd love to be in a position to do. Third, I've always loved the Snowbirds demo team.

When I was first signing up, I tried a dozen usernames with no luck. I had a Snowbird poster from an airshow on my wall, and liked the multiple meanings.

Shortly thereafter I acquired the nickname Sheena around the dz. The story involves leopard print underwear. But it was too late, so Snowbird I am.

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

I crossed the runway while the plane was landing. Pilot was VERY pissed. He had to do a go around. Many cases of beer. Shut down the whole DZ til he calmed down after buzzing the hanger, Damn. My shoe was untied. I had to stop in the middle of the runway to tie it. LOL. I'll never live that one down[:/]
