chaoskitty 0 #1 September 30, 2004 Every day at 3pm when I'm in the office, I want to crawl under my desk and take a little nap. I dont eat a big lunch.. but I think that sitting on my ass at my desk for the majority of seven hours just makes me sleepy... Why cant we have nap rooms in the office? Darius11 12 #2 September 30, 2004 it's 4 here and yes I would love a nap. Believe it or not in some countries like Iran there lunch brake is for a few hours and people come home eat a big lunch have some tea and nap. But that could be one of the reasons the economy is so bad I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
mnealtx 0 #3 September 30, 2004 Just get one of those sleep mats like you use to have in kindergarten. Bring it in and send out appointments to everyone stating "Nap time 3:00pm-3:30pm" It oughta work....Mike I love you, Shannon and Jim. gremlin 0 #4 September 30, 2004 Cute image - you curled up under your desk asleep. Of course your boss may not take the same view. I'm drunk, you're drunk, lets go back to mine....

If enough of us just go lay down on the floor in our office at 3 pm maybe they'll get the hint and make it mandatory. -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.) misskriss 0 #7 September 30, 2004 I just woke up from a nap an hour ago. I worked out this morning and the girl really put me through the ringer. I came home, ate lunch, took a shower and then put on a thunderstorm cd and was asleep in 10 minutes. I slept too long though (2hours) because now I just feel groggy. Slappie 9 #8 September 30, 2004 I was caught one time by my boss kicked back in my chair napping. I was in one of those kinda sleeps, ya know where it's not totaly zonked out but you have your eyes closed. He said; "Shawn you ok?" Without missing a beat; "Amen" ... "Yes boss whats up?" gravityizsexy 0 #9 September 30, 2004 yeah. naps are nice especially when you have a place just for naps. Im talking 10 out of 10 comfort zone. Something that you get in and just let the comfort collect you. A hanging valley of pillows and a light blanket with a scented candle..... yeeeeaaaahhhhh try getting away with that at work..... katiebear21 0 #12 September 30, 2004 Why is it when we were kids, you couldn't bribe us enough to take naps... college it was planned in like clockwork... as an adult they're nearly impossible! Unless, of course, you're retired and you've got a girlfriend with a good job. Anyways, I had the neverending soup/salad/breaksticks at Olive Garden today and totally wanted a nap after that!
