Maybe you should try another location. I have actually been to Hooter's in Florida, Texas, Maryland, and they all have been great. I think it must be your particular franchise.
I dont think so, I have been to them in NJ, Philadelphia, San Antonio, and Florida....I try wings where ever I go and haven't had a good hooters wing anywhere!

'Used to drive truck OTR Long haul glass. 'Been to lots of different "Hooters" from Canada to Florida, The Atlantic coast to the Mid West. "And" one or two in Jersey too! The wings were Great, The Ladies were Great, and whatever dippin sauce I got was Great too. It was "Hooters!!!" not the Waldorf!

It's an east /west coast thing. I haven't found decent blue cheese with wings since I moved to California. They keep trying to serve me ranch (yuck....)

i've only been to the hooters in ottawa ontario, and the wings were gross. i wanted to like them and had been looking forward to going, but they were just so damn greasy! i ended up taking each wing, rolling it up in a sheet of paper towel and squashing it to wring out the grease. pretty much soaked a sheet per wing. maybe the naked wings are better?

I'm with you. Hooters wings are just fried chicken with sauce on them. They are really pretty shitty.
If you want good wings from a chain restaurant, I would say Wings and More or Wingstop.
Oh yeah, and they can only be dipped in ranch. Blue Cheese is for senior citizens.
