2 REALLY crap landings:
1) digging myself out of a corner from a low toggle turn (Dickhead)
2) Unintentional downwind landing (misread the sox & didnt look for the arrow) (complete Dickhead)
Fortunatley I walked away from both with no more injury than pride.

5 million dog hairs vaccuumed up from all three of the chickens I call dogs hunkering in the house when the winds got strong. Who is protecting whom here? Bad part is they'll most likely be in until tomorrow because the worst is yet to come. How can three little dogs loose that much hair in such a short time?

I can promise you I'm jumping SOMEWHERE next weekend even if I have to fly to get there.

2 times i managed not to land on the dz

2 very cool jumps out at skydive Long Island-what a BEAUTIFUL place! Ocean on one side and the long island sound on the other....did one solo where after messing around for a bit i just stopped and watched the waves crash on the shore-very pretty...great jump until i got stuck over the woods Second jump was a 3 way with peachsouthern and another friend-lots of fun!

Beer owed for my first jump at skydive long island and my first (and second) off landing there...

WTS has the german ?Seals? on site again, and they were jumping. the wind was gusty and very variable... those huge (350 sq ft) were really bouncing around...

did see a few tandems and a few others. I saw very few people jump twice

Took this weekend and got back to nature. 5.3 miles Friday night, 5.2 miles yesterday afternoon. Ok... its been a while and I clearly overpacked. Pack weighted like 35 pounds and my legs are feeling it today. Felt nice to get away from everything, but next time its going to be the go lite method.

I loaned my rig to Wingnut while he's in town this weekend. Hope he brings it back to with out having ot have used the reserve that I packed

Byron Boogie was awesome...besides the hangover I am dealing with now. I did my first jump out of the PAC....this plane is built up to be alot more than it really is....and I also did my first jump out of the Caravan....For some reason I had it confused for the Skyvan and was all excited...and when the Caravan got there I was like...this is just a big Cessna....haha...oh well...still had shit loads of fun....oh and I met SkyBytch in person.....she is really not bitchy....awesome chick!!!

I found my limit for champagne. I even had a forewarning with it. I really didn't need three bottles....and those evil people buying me shots.

The Byron Boogie rocked!!

I didn't get a lot of skydives in as I was quite busy with the swoop accuracy comp. most of Saturday.. It was great, though, and well worth my time and effort. I love helping people learn and the carnage while doing so was impressive to say the least..

Our own genoyamamoto and skydivexxl tied for first and got excellent prizes.. Geno got a coupon for 30% off an entire Aerodyne rig... Icon container, main and smart reserve.. and Andy got 50% off of a brand new Wings container.. They were both very happy. There were 20 competitors in all and everyone got at least a T-shirt and some new knowledge and skill.

I got 13 jumps in myself.. 3 tandem vids, a cross country, a hybrid, a couple of tube freefly jumps, a demo into a waterski comp. where I had a tube and we built a belly round.. and a handful of other freefly jumps..

I owe beer for the first time I had to use my hand to take pictures in freefall.. I replaced my tongue switch cuz my old one was sticking.. Found out in the plane, the new one wasn't compatible with my digi Rebel.. I am happy to report that I believe the customer will be satisfied with my work..

I jumped the Pac 750. Ick! I hated it for doing tandem video with my top-mounted Rebel.. and front float is uncomfortable to say the least.. I think the claim of it sitting 18 is for those skydiving pygmies in New Zealand cuz I can't imagine 18 full-size jumpers in there.. I have a newfound affection for our King Air.. and happy to see that Pac go back to Davis..

Had a totally kick ass weekend!!!! Got in 5 jumps - none of them under a 20 way.

Weather was gorgeous - beautiful blue skies. Great friends to hang out with and made some new friends. And got the last remaining piece of eeneR's costume so she's all set for Perris.

Hey...Perris peeps...please, please, please, make sure you get some pics of eeneR's costume and post it.

A 4-way hybrid with 1 stinger and video orbiting...

A 6-way hybrid with 2 stingers that turned into a 3 way hybrid after it started to get ugly... one of the most fun jumps yet, even though I had to land in the parking lot.
