How do I get it off?

Recommended Posts

There is a downed pine tree near my house and somehow pine tar from it got on my convertable top. How do I get it off? There is also some on the paint. HELP, windex nor shout work.

Turtle Wax makes a bug & tar remover -- you should be able to find it at the auto parts store. It's supposed to work on pine tree sap among other things.

Give it a try.

Hope it helps!
and I'm just as fine as froghair; went to AOT boogie and jumped a wingsuit. You gotta try it. It's got that "if I work hard enough at this I know I can master it" feel that's satisfying.

Seriously - go to a parts store - ask the attendant - they will have an answer for ya.
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama

What about Goo Gone? That stuff seems to work on everything and I've never had it ruin any material yet. It even worked on my jumpsuit when I had tape residue on it from taping glow lights to it for night jumps.
